Futuristic 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Sport Cars Designs

The Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a new 3.4-litre engine developing 350 hp, and the Carrera S features a 400 hp version of the familiar 3.8-litre. These new engines offer performance improvements for both models. The 3.4-litre Carrera with PDK accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.6 sec, 0.1 sec quicker than the prior model. Pressing the Sport Plus button on the optional Sport Chrono Pack cuts that to 4.4 sec. The 3.8-litre Carrera S with PDK can accelerate from 0- 62 mph in 4.3 sec (Sport Plus 4.1 sec), 0.2sec quicker than its predecessor.

Depending on the model, there are other standard or optional active control systems available as well that further enhance the driving dynamics. That is especially true for the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active roll stabilisation system, available for the first time on the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The system reduces body roll when cornering, with the result that the tyres are always in the optimal position relative to the road surface and thus able to transmit higher lateral forces. Consequently, maximum cornering speeds are increased, and even faster lap times on racing circuits are possible. The new Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S raise the performance and efficiency standard to new levels. The Porsche 911 Carrera with the new 350 hp (257 kW) 3.4-litre direct injection engine and optional PDK returns 34.4mpg Combined based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) – 6mpg less than its predecessor. Also, at 194 g/km CO2, it is the first Porsche sports car to sit below 200 g/km CO2. In the case of the Carrera S, with its 400 hp 3.8-litre direct injection engine, economy when paired with the optional PDK is increased by 14 per cent, or 5 mpg, to 32.4mpg Combined despite 15 hp more power. That equates to CO2 emissions of 205 g/km. The Carrera S adds 20-inch alloy wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with rear limited slip differential, in addition to the power advantage of the larger 3.8-litre engine.

Super Sport Car 2011 from Lotus Elise with Elegant Designs

The 2011 Lotus Elise has raised the bar of excellence and standard of performance with its distinctive features that are typical of an industry-leading mid-engine sports car. 2011 Lotus Elise scores high with its gritty stance on tried and tested features that have propelled it to new heights while staying the course in its focus on the brand's evolving design and development templates. This means that we will still see the distinctive character of the old Elise, but blended with significant enhancements. One of the major modifications of the 2011 Elise model is the new bumper, access panel and front clam. The front end also boasts of a pair of exquisite headlamps with LED lights, giving it a distinctive and vibrant look. Its sporty look is extended to the rear end which is highlighted by its unique engine cover with "dual spine" design and a new bumper design that is topped by an aggressive diffuser. Its solid and sturdy look is further enhanced by a set of lightweight alloys with an updated modern multi-spoke design which is exclusive for this Elise model.

Seamless Mix of Power and Efficiency under the Hood
On top of this dominant exterior appeal, the 2011 Lotus Elise is also powered by an advanced 1.6-liter dual VVT and Valvematic engine, which meets all regulations under EURO 5. This Lotus powerhouse is a perfect combination of power and fuel efficiency, making it the top choice in the mid-engine sports car category, especially for those looking for the adrenaline rush without getting that heavy punch on the pocket. This new Elise power plant delivers a strong kick with extreme efficiency and even tops the performance ratios of its Elise-S sibling by 23% while retaining the same output figures of 160 Nm torque and 134 horsepower.

Evolutionary Elements of the New 2001 Lotus Elise
The 2011 Lotus Elise boasts of a new 1ZR-FAE gasoline engine which is designed and manufactured by Toyota for Group Lotus. This 1598 cm3 engine has demonstrable advantage in terms of performance and efficiency through its dual VVT-I and variable valve lift assembly. The engine is provided with intuitive control capability in regulating the volume of airflow through timely closing and opening intake valve. This provides for higher efficiency in fuel consumption while maintaining optimal engine power and performance. Top end power output is achieved by this Elise model at the point of maximum engine speed which is at 6800 rpm, and maximum torque, which is equal to 160Nm, is achieved at 4400 rpm. This means that you are able to enjoy the perfect combination of middle range pull and maximum permitted engine speed which is at 7000 rpm. Just like with the earlier Elise models, the 2011 Lotus Elise comes with 3 up-shift light indicators. These light indicators are activated when you get close to the rev limiter. When all 3 light indicators are activated, they will flash to warn the driver that he has almost reached the rev limiter, and it is time to change gear. For this version of Lotus Elise, there is an upside variance in the height of the engine cover of about 34 mm in order to give space for the taller engine with its added Valvematic component. With this reconfiguration requirement, Lotus engineers have found the perfect opportunity to make the necessary design enhancements on the cover panel of the rear engine so that it perfectly matches the design theme of the front end of the sports car.

Cool and Fast Sport Cars from Ferrari FXX

Stylish, sexy, sleek, streamlined, spirited and speed demon are all words used to describe Ferrari FXX sports cars, which are essentially two-door automobiles that are designed for high speeds, great power and smashing good looks. The Ferrari FXX supercar is manufactured in Italy, along with all other Ferrari's, and was under production by the end of 2005. This sports car is a great display of new car technology, which includes innovations from Ferrari, along with other companies that have continuously contracted parts in association with the Ferrari brand. The Enzo is the supercar that the FXX is based on, but there are specific functions found on the FXX, that are not found on the Enzo, which makes the FXX a complete car of it's own accord. The engine, and other standard operating systems for the car, are modeled after the Enzo as well, but have been modified to accommodate differing fuel standards, and other technological restrictions.

The FXX boasts a very low gear shifting time (under 100 ms), which is essential for a sports car of this high magnitude. The brake pads have also been tweaked in order to create a safer atmosphere for the driver, while still making the car just as superficially viable as its predecessor. The tires are another feature that are highly touted as an individual characteristic of the car, and are custom made only for the Ferrari FXX, not for any other vehicle. Like the Enzo, the features of the Ferrari FXX's interior are custom made for the user, which means that every driver is measured specifically measured for the car upon purchase.

The Ferrari FXX is definitely a supercar that cannot be mass-produced, mainly due to production costs, but also due to the fact that only a select few are willing to purchase such an exotic car due to the extensively high $ 1,773,000 / 1,500,000 euro price. Thus only 29 units of this sports car were built. The Ferrari FXX computer technology held inside the car also makes for a great driving experience, and tells the driver how their technique can be improved to assist their ability to function along with the car.

First Injection Engine from Ferrari 458 Italia 4499 cc V8 2011

The new model of sport cars from Ferrari 458 Italia 4499 cc V8 2011 is a synthesis of style, creative flair, passion and cutting-edge technology, characteristics for which Italy as a nation is well-known. The new 4499 cc V8 is the first Ferrari direct injection engine to be mid-rear mounted which was equipped with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which increases performance whilst providing very smooth shifts even at full throttle. The engineers have developed specific, sportier gear ratios to match the power and torque curves of the new V8, guaranteeing high torque even at lower engine speeds and allowing the car to reach its maximum speed in top gear.. It has a very low piston compression height typical of racing engines which contributed to achieving its compression ratio of 12.5:1. Equipped with the traditional flat-plane crankshaft, the engine delivers 570 CV at 9000 rpm and, with an outstanding power output of 127 CV/litre, sets a new benchmark not only for the whole Ferrari range and the history of company, but also for the entire market segment. Maximum torque is 540 Nm at 6000 rpm, over 80 per cent of which is available from 3250 rpm. Specific torque is a record 120 Nm/litre. However, what is truly extraordinary is the amount of torque available while still maintaining high levels of power at low revs.

Lamborghini Sport Cars with Electric Concept by Denis Archambault

The Lamborghini Rompighiaccio Electric Concept is one example of their new drawings. This was designed by Denis Archambault and wants to be the next future supercar. Lamborghini releases on the market amazing fast cars almost every year, proving that incredible vehicles can be manufactured by imperfect human beings. All the Lamborghini cars are usually impressive because of their exterior design which is meant to follow the aerodynamic rules in order to improve the top speed of these supercars. In addition, the Italian automaker tried to improve each and every one of the components used for manufacturing the cars no matter if it was about the main material (nowadays mainly carbon fiber) used to build the frame and the interior of the car or about the engineering and technical components.
